Abhijith & Chinnu

An instant connection, and a mandapam full of people who saw it coming.

Chinnu had one request: photograph her grandmother. Everything else, she said, we could decide. So we did both — the wide ceremonial frames the family wanted for the album, and a long, unhurried set of portraits of three generations of women in the same sari colours.

The hand-painting before the ceremony became the thread running through the whole edit. Small, specific, entirely theirs.
